From West Palm Beach to Florida City is where you will fine some of the most talented student-athletes in the country. I have a great feeling these two young man I'm about to introduce to you will be household names at the next level and they have a concentraction on the gridiron at one of the most challenging positions, cornerback.
Gwen Cherry Bulls (Jr. Midgets) has a young man that displays a combination of speed, hip movement, instincts and ball skills this entire off-season. Remember the name Timothy Burns Jr. (Left Pictured) folks.
Timothy displays a nice blend of swagger and confidence when he locks up on opposing teams #1 wide receivers. He doesn't fear the name on the back wide receivers jersey nor the big stage. I observed this talented young man lockdown older kids this off-season and he without question, blended right in with the older crowd after one year remove from elementary school. Timothy is a future star.
Now that I have spotlighted Miami-Dade's premier cornerback, how about we travel north bound to broward and visit AYFL powerhouse program - Pembroke Pines Optimist and meet their talented and fundamentally sound cornerback named Earl Little Jr. (Right Pictured)
If the name rings a bell, yes he's the son of former University of Miami star defensive back Earl Little. Earl (the son) is best described as a student of the game and of course, talented and a playmaker. I rarely see this young man out of position and this fall, Earl (the son) has found the end zone roughly (4) times within two games. Timothy Burns Jr. and Earl Little Jr., will be two of the most sought-after imcoming 9th graders in 2021.
