FLORIDA CITY, FLA. - This past weekend was maybe one of the most exciting and breathtaking exhibition games you'll ever see in youth football. The Florida City Razorbacks clashed with the Northwest Boys & Girls Club falcons (Jr. Midgets), and both teams left everything on the field.

First half, the falcons shocked everyone in attendence, as they muscled their way all the way down to the razorbacks (5) yard line. The next play, Quarterback (#11) Corey Stanley threw a nice fade route to wide receiver (#5) Jakai Chatman as he high pointed the ball putting the falcons up (6-0). The falcons extra point attempt was blocked by the razorbacks (#11) Adrian Daivs.

The falcons decided to test athlete Torey "Scooter" Morrison again after giving up the razorbacks first touchdown and it backfired. Torey read the quarterback eyes and intercepted the pass and then the momentum shifted. A few players later on offense, Torey "Scooter" Morrison displayed Michael Vick like athleticism -- as he kept the play alive and later -- found his tall and rangy tight end (#11) Adrian Davis in the middle of the field for the touchdown -- to tie the game (6-6).

Torey wasted no time finding the end zone once again as he used his arm connecting on a (42) yard touchdown to wide receiver (#2) Jaiden Francois to give the Razorbacks the lead (12-6). The next big play of the game would come from the razorbacks secondary, as CB (#4) Jaheim Jerry would make a diving interception at the falcons (26) yard line. The razorbacks first play on offense after Jerry's interception, Torey captilized from hard running from RB (#6) Jaylen Durham going untouch on a bootleg racing (26) yards into the end zone -- scoring his 3rd touchdown and kicking the extra point, extending the lead to (20-6). Things continued to go downhill from there for the falcons, fumbling the ball in their end zone giving up a safety increasing the score to (22-6).

The razorbacks cornerback (#1)Cedarius Watts was targeted (4) times and went 0-for-4 and dropped two interceptions. Dispite being up in comfortable lead -- the razorbacks didn't take their foot off the gas. Running back (#6) Jaylen Durham found day light between the tackles racing (32) yards for a touchdown; Torey successfully used his speed on the razorbacks extra point attempt to extend the lead (29-6). Late in fouth quarter, the Falcons picked up a fumble in returned it over (70) yards for a touchdown to end the game (29-12).

Florida City Razorbacks running backs (#5) Ralph Williams and (#6) Jaylen Durham displayed the razorbacks can not only spread the field and toss it around, but play smash mouth football as well during the heavy rain. The Northwest Falcons football team didn't pull out the victory on saturday night, but I'll make a bold statement and tell you this talented and tough squad will be in the Sean Taylor Classic.
