Greater Miami South Florida Pop Warner Jamboree Top Performers

The stage was set on a Saturday afternoon at Christopher Columbus High School, where a staggering five teams with future FBS caliber recruits and a winning pedigree, would clash and give spectators a sample of what to expect this upcoming season. The Greater Miami South Florida Pop Warner jamboree featured a bundle of newcomers on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. The notable headliners such as Rashad Snow and Amen Mackey, continued where they left off the following season.
NOTABLE GAME
Florida City Razorbacks vs. Palmetto Raiders (115lbs.) better known as the chosen ones was perhaps, the talk of the town -- as the razorbacks held the three peat Sean Taylor Classic champions scoreless. If not for a remarkable catch-and-run by razorbacks wide receiver Sedrick Melvin, this heated battle ends in a tie. The chosen ones running back Kamari “Green shoes” Morrison did an excellent moving the chains, but the raiders would make too many mental mistakes. I'll make sure to mark this game on my calendar.
NOTABLE DEFENSE
When talking about an Arties Knight football team, the first thing that comes to mind is his running backs. But, not on Saturday morning at Christopher Columbus HS. His defensive line is perhaps his best position group and having the top defensive lineman at Jr. Varsity with Amen Mackey alongside rising stars Artravian Driver and Rashad Lee.

NOTABLE DEFENSES
When talking about an Arties Knight football team, the first thing that comes to mind is his running backs. But, not on Saturday morning at Christopher Columbus HS. His defensive line is perhaps his best position group and having the top defensive lineman at Jr. Varsity with Amen Mackey alongside rising stars Artravian Driver and Rashad Lee. The Florida City Razorbacks defense would also share the title. Their defensive front was headlined by Jaden Miller, Rashad Snow and Edurado Nunez, Jr., who made it a challenge for linebackers just to make a tackle. Their linebacker core also flew to the ball, while playing primarily what appeared to be a cover zero defense.
YOUNG AND TALENT
Florida City Razorbacks running back Jermaine Green, Jr. and running back Lavarous McGuire of the Palmetto Raiders were man amongst boys. It appeared as if, everytime they touched the ball it would result in a touchdown or first down. Keep an eye on these two young up and coming stars.
