While everyone were watching the Pembroke Pines Bengals executed well, running a limited playbook Coach Chris McGonigal showed that his boys have gotten bigger, faster, and stronger this off season. Jaden Mcburrows looks like he still has the competitive edge, he has matured quite a bit, expect for him to continue to be that guy. Vinson Davis is not the little guy anymore! Vinson has filled out well, and remains a top athlete in his class. Nick Vattiato showed that all the off season hard work is paying off as he consistently makes near perfect mechanics look effortless. The additions of Earl Little Jr, Darryl Reid and Robert Floyd went noticed by the spectators, and met by optimism as the Bengals further expect Laurence Seymore the arguably best football player in his class to join the team later this fall.
But the real question that still remains is : With all that talent, did Coach Chris and His 12U Bengals aka Dream Killers, look to be just as vulnerable as the other elite 12U teams on display from around South Florida in the 3rd Annual Generation Nexxt Kickoff Classic, such as Miramar Wolverines, and the Plantation Wildcats, who hail from the AYFL as well.
Many sideliners, Dads, and spectators, expressed they believe they didn’t but Generation Next insiders seems to think they actually performed as advertised, Our insider says “They won at every positional match up without big baby, they seemed to be tinkering with the offense, but still executed in most instances, they are the real deal. Not to mention East Miramar is a VERY talented football team, we expect they will fair really well in the FYFL. The debate will remain but many believe the 12U division is the Most Competitive, division in all of south Florida across all leagues. That will sure to make for an exciting Rollercoaster ride of a season at that division, if that is proven to be the case.
