THE BENGALS STILL TOP OF THE UNLIMITED CLASS!

THE BENGALS STILL TOP OF THE UNLIMITED CLASS!

BY ERIC IKPE

Pembroke Pines'----- Two undefeated unlimited teams in the American Youth Football League faced off Saturday to determine who will take first place in the Unlimited weight division. The Broncos traveled to Pembroke Pines' to face the 3 time super bowl and defending state champs.

Out the gate, the Bengals’ vaunted defense pressured the Broncos immediately when #6 WR/DB Jamal Walton intercepted a pass thrown by Broncos QB,  #9 Dionte Lee on Davie’s first drive. The Bengals capitalized on the turnover when #5 Running back Jakyus' Johnson punched in on a one-yard run.

The Broncos attempted to respond, but made a mental mistake when #10 Running back Terrell Carraway got stuffed in the end zone for a safety to take the game into halftime.

At the start of the third, the Bengals continue their dominant performance behind the legs of #1 Laress' Nelson who ran for a 11-yard touchdown. The Broncos' finally scored when #21 John Montimer hauled in a long pass, but it was too late when PPO’s #5 Jakyus' Johnson found the end zone again to put the game out of reach.

"We came out and played our game," PPO Head Coach Richie said. "I'm proud of our guys, and we still have work to do."

PPO defeat Davie with a final score 34-12. The Bengals improve to an 8-0 record and will play Miramar Wolverines' next week. The Broncos' falls to 7-1 and will play Coconut Creek.

I hear a lot of excuses but i remember u guys getting a lot of penalties to extend ur drives. And we all know u always had ur coach cuz he never left the sidelines and thats why he just got suspended. But i will do u guys a favor and bring some kleenex tissues to the super bowl if u guys make it for all the crying u guys do!

LOL I love how one-sided you guys are, not mentioning us starting with an interception and then getting a TD called back to open the game, or the fact we played most of the game without a head coach, or the fact we probably had about 300+ yards in penalties and only gave up about 150-200 yards...
