The EXTRA POINT attempt would be too high for holder Kentron Poitier and the bulldogs defenders -- (#8) Freddie Bruce and (#1) Jonell Gomez would stop the warriors with sure tackling.
The bulldogs now enter the 2nd quarter still without a first-down. The warriors would strick again -- as (#5) wide receiver Baron Grant would line-up at wing back (Wing-T) and take a toss for a 22-yard TOUCHDOWN. The score is now 12-0.
The bulldogs standouts on defense were (#4) Sirr Daye, (#1) Jonell Gomez and (#53) Khaliq Williams. The warriors defense would force their fifth consecutive three-and-out -- as (#99) DT Raheem Berry would make a sack and (#6) linebacker Wilkhari Jones would make a tackle for a loss on 3rd down.
The warriors would score their third TOUCHDOWN on the day as Baron Grant would be the decoy on a double handoff and (#6) Wilkhari Jones would race 12-yards into the end zone to extend the lead, 20-0.
The bulldogs changed their game plan second half -- going to the shotgun empty formation. The a few plays later -- the bulldogs would fumble and (#52) DT Lamarcus Anderson would return it for a 31-yard TOUCHDOWN.
The EXTRA POINT -- would be mishandled and holder (#8) Kentron Poitier wouldn't panic and throw to (#1) Travis Pittman for the extra point, 27-0.
Midway through the quarter -- The bulldogs would pick up their first -- 1st down of the game. The next play the bulldogs would throw a deep pass on the left side of the field and (#5) Free Safety Baron Grant would high point the intercept and return it 42-yards.
