Steve, You all keep talking about this age group. On our team we have serveral 10 year olds who don't turn 11 until next year that can play 90s, however they parents decided to allow thier kids to move up and play with us cause of the coaching. Most of our kids are in 5th and 6th grade Steve. You have to keep in mind this lake stevens team play PPO in a jamboree when we was at Golden Glades last year as 90 and it wasn't nice at all.. Hats off in beating our runner ups but its not a indication of our league.. Let's be serious! Champions versus Runner ups! I had a feeling this was going to happen and you all was going to be screaming AYFL. I can already see how the clash of champions is going to go down but hey will be back next year! We played full force saturday still without the head coach but they didn't even git a first down and we won 24-0.... Check us out this weekend again at the Orange Bowl! At by the way its not a big talent level from one year.. It it was high school would be seperated by age group..

Coach Carter: Most of our kids aren't at the weight limit either. Weston Warriors is a pretty small 110 lb team. My son weighs 105 and he is a lineman. I think we only had a handful of kids who weigh anywhere near the 115 lb limit.

I think age makes a much bigger difference than weight. Kids mature a whole lot in a year.

@Coach Carter, actually coach, you would have the weight advantage because of all the weight your biggest player can get. As we know, everyone on our teams will not weigh nowhere near the maximum weight. Typically, you only have a handful of players who struggle to make the weight on any team. The advantage we would have is that we could be a couple of months older if the right age groups are matched up but would be 8th graders playing 8th graders, 7th graders playing 7th graders, 6th graders playing 6th graders and so on........

@STEVE U KEEP TALKING BOUT THE AGE DIFFERENCE BUT YOUR LEAGUE WILL HAVE A WEIGHT ADVANTAGE. U TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH OUR WEIGHT GOES UP(SFYFL)ITS NOT LIKE EVERY PLAYER WEIGHS THAT MAX WEIGHT

@K, I tried to tell you about the AYFL and the results were embarrassing considering they played the older pounds and still won! In some cases, PPO 135's, Cooper City 90's, Cooper City 120's and even Coral Springs Unl's won by more than 2 TD's! Even Coral Springs Chargers 100's when I think about it who came back from an 18-0 deficit won 30-18 against an older runner up team Kendall Hammocks Warriors 105's who you guys beat in the Super Bowl in 2OT albeit without 4-5 of your studs and head coach. So, I am not sure how bad it would have been if the AYFL had actually played against their right age groups?
